Julia Ann “Judy” (Davis) Pinti, 85, of Clarksburg, West Virginia passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2026 at her home following a brief illness.

Nick and Judy lived faith filled, godly lives, rich with family, friends, laughter, and service. She was also preceded in death by her five siblings; Harriet E. Minnix, Phillip B. Wyer, John H. Wyer, Billy J. Davis, and Robert E. Davis

Judy is survived by her son, David Nick Pinti of Clarksburg; her daughter, Beth Ann (Pinti) Griffith and husband Brian of Bridgeport, WV, and three granddaughters; Rachel Elizabeth (Griffith) Clouse and husband Daniel, Emily Rose Griffith and Julia Caroline Griffith, and one great granddaughter, Ruby Valentine Clouse. Judy is also survived by nieces and nephews; Mark Pinti, Stephen Pinti, Shelly (Pinti) Wilfong, Stephanie (Pinti) Stuart, Jill (Pinti) Sisk, Charles Davis, Michael Davis, Cathy (Davis) Thomas, Willa Davis, Dan Davis, Cheryl (Davis) Bischoff, Robert Davis II, Susan (Wyer) Lester, Darla (Wyer) O'Neal, JoEllen Wyer, Terry Wyer, Sharon (Minnix) White, Patricia (Minnix) Ashbury; along with many great nieces and nephews.

To her granddaughters she was “Memaw”. She was the kind of grandmother who never missed the chance to play Barbies, do crafts, tell stories, or anything that would bring joy. Quick-witted and hilariously funny, Judy was a constant source of entertainment to all. Her giggle was infectious. She never took herself too seriously and didn’t coddle those who did. Judy, along with Nick, never missed a band or theater performance, volleyball match, or any event that was special to her family. She loved going on family vacation each year where she enjoyed having her morning coffee on the patio, watching the ocean and taking morning walks on the beach with Nick. Judy loved a fun game of cards, which she continued to play with her family until just prior to her passing.

Judy was a 1959 graduate of Washington Irving High School and a faithful member, trustee and elder of the Presbyterian Church of Our Savior. She served on the Presbytery Session for many years and personally made certain that each week the church bulletin was prepared for each service. Over the years she taught Sunday School, coordinated events, and did whatever she could to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Judy dreamed of becoming a nurse and, once her children were raised, made that dream a reality. She worked for several years at Lincoln High School assisting children in the special education classroom.

Amy Reaser Bunch, 59, of Lake Floyd, WV departed this life peacefully surrounded by her family on May 15, 2026. She was born on October 13, 1966 in Clarksburg, daughter of the late James L. and Connie M. Reaser.

Surviving is her loving husband of 35 years, Timothy J. Bunch; one daughter, Dr. Clarissa B. Wade and her husband Justin of Morgantown and one son, Corey Bunch, Esquire, and his wife Madison of Clarksburg; one grandson James Wade; one brother Mark Reaser and his wife Beth Jarrett-Reaser of Jane Lew; two sisters-in-law, Tammy Blake and her husband Danny of Bridgeport, and Donna Swiger of Clarksburg; one niece Sabrina Kropp and her husband Willie of Fairmont, and one nephew Steven Swiger and his wife Courtney of Clarksburg. Amy dedicated her life to serving others both professionally and personally. Upon graduation from the West Virginia University School of Pharmacy in 1989, she began her tenure as a pharmacist at the Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center in Clarksburg until 2003. She then transitioned to the head pharmacist at Salem Colonial Pharmacy where she found her true calling providing outstanding service to her community. She quickly recognized the role independent retail pharmacies play in supporting rural, underserved communities, leading her to become an owner of Salem Colonial Pharmacy, Michael’s Pharmacy, Town & Country Drugstore, Village Pharmacy, and Community Pharmacy of Bridgeport alongside her trusted business partners. She was also a member of the West Virginia Pharmacists Association.

Amy enjoyed spending time with her family and friends in her community at Lake Floyd. She was a member of the planning committee, supported the swim team, participated in community events, and remained a supportive neighbor throughout her lifetime there. She was actively involved in her children’s lives, serving on school committees and attending academic and sporting events and later cheering them on as they finished graduate school. Amy especially enjoyed earning the title of grandma and spending time with her beloved grandson James.

Amy was an avid West Virginia University sports fan, often attending home football and basketball games. She was a huge Gilmore Girls fan and frequently watched Hallmark movies in her free time. She also appreciated time spent traveling to new destinations with her family.

David Stephen Nuzum, 66, of Mount Clare, WV passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Mon General Hospital following complications from cancer treatment.

He was born on December 13, 1959, in Clarksburg, WV, son of the late John D. Nuzum and Virginia A. Nuzum. David was preceded in death in 2006 by his elder brother, Charles Richard (Dick) Nuzum. He was the second to last survivor of his immediate family.

David was survived by his wife of 40 years, Sandi Jo Nuzum, his elder brother John T.
(Tom) Nuzum and sister-in-law Randi Nuzum of Myrtle Beach, SC, his eldest son Casey Nuzum, his eldest daughter Courtney Nuzum, and his youngest, adopted son, Jared Nuzum.

Mr. Nuzum was a 1978 graduate of Washington Irving High School and a graduate of West Virginia University in 1982 and 1996. At West Virginia University he traveled to England to perform in a trombone ensemble under Dick Powell during which was at the same time as Diane and Charles' Royal wedding. He obtained his Bachelor's in Music, Master's in Music, and Master's in Administration.

Starting in 1984, Mr. Nuzum served the citizens of West Virginia as a music teacher in Ritchie County then Harrison County in 1986 for 32 years in total. In Ritchie County, he taught at Pennsboro High School and in Harrison County he taught at: Bridgeport High School, Robert C. Byrd High School as the first Assistant Band Director, South Harrison Middle School, West Milford Elementary School, Norwood Elementary School, Nutter Fort Elementary School, and Washington Irving Middle School.

As people who knew him realized, Mr. Nuzum was a man of incredible talent and immense kindness. Through his knowledge of musical theory and performing arts he would perform for various groups in his communities and others nearby. He would perform with Colombo's Big Band, 1970's cover band Second Street, Shinnston Community Band, Morgantown Big Band, and various school theatre productions. Through these groups he was able to share beautiful music with thousands of people. He also designed and, with assistance, built an addition to his family's home to adopt his wife's disabled great-nephew.

In the 1990's he served on the board of the Elks Recreation, which oversaw the operations of the Quiet Dell Community Pool as the Treasurer. Through his service as Treasurer, he was able to successfully keep the local community pool operational for the kids of the community to enjoy and learn how to swim. No less than 100s of kids would enjoy spending their summers at the community pool due to his efforts.

David was continually active with the First Presbyterian Church of Clarksburg since his childhood. Throughout the years, he would serve as Elder of the Session. He would play in the church's handbell choir, his trombone, and his bass for multiple musical arrangements. As he had children, he would enjoy spending every Wednesday evening during his own children's childhood going to Wednesday Night Live at the church, which would include scripture lessons and music. He eventually would serve as Music Coordinator for the handbell choir which included organizing performances and maintenance of the group's instruments. He was a board member and former chairperson of Children’s Instrument Recycle Program (CHIRP) and was the director of the Italian Heritage Festival Orchestra.
