In keeping with her wishes, Carla will be cremated. A Celebration of Life will be hosted by the family at a later date.

Carla was a sweet girl. I met her when she was an intern at the VA and was in the Hope Center. She was always a bubbly person to be around, and kept things exciting. She will be sadly missed. My prayers are with you Dave, and the family. May God give you all peace and comfort during this hard time.

Carla and I met each other while I worked at the VA Medical Center. She was always kind to me and will be deeply missed. Prayers for her family and her work family.

I could not believe it when I heard the news. Carla was one of a kind, larger than life, kind, and always thoughtful of others. I will miss her visits, her big smile, and I will miss her going on about something or the other in the funny way she always did... I know Heaven is a buzz with her up there. I will miss you my friend.
