There will be no visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at 11:00 am at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Father Casey Mahone as Celebrant. Entombment will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery.

Joseph “Joe” Minnite, 90 of Clarksburg passed away on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 in the WV VA Nursing Facility.
He was born in Meadowbrook, WV on April 19, 1934, a son of the late Patsy and Rosa Oppedisano Minnite.
He was married to Rose Marie Frammosa Minnite on August 20, 1957, who preceded him in death on January 26, 2018 after 60 years of married.
Joe is survived by one sister, Shirley VanGilder of Bridgeport; one sister-in-law, Judy Minnite, nieces and nephews, Karmyn (Yale) Conley, Rose Marie Young, Connie (Dave) Koon, Patsy (Tracey) Minnite, III, Jason (Kristen) Minnite, John Goots and Joe (Kim) Goots; as well as several great nieces, great nephews, great great nieces and great great nephews.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Frank (Mary) Minnite and Patsy Minnite, Jr.; and two sisters, Katherine Minnite and Teressa Goots.
Joe was a 1952 graduate of Shinnston High School and a United States Army Veteran. He was the owner and operator of Minnite Plumbing and Heating. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus and the Sunny Croft Golf Club where he loved to golf. Joe spent the last six years of his life at the WV VA Nursing Facility and the family offers special thanks to the staff and Dr. Rob Kauffelt for their excellent care.
