Sandra Kay “Sandy” Greynolds Nay, 75, of Clarksburg, WV, passed away on Friday, May 1, 2026, at the United Hospital Center.

She was born in Clarksburg, on May 25, 1950, a daughter of the late Lester Marion and Amyce Ilo Swiger Garvin.

Mrs. Nay was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, whose kind heart, generosity, and gentle spirit touched all who knew her. Above all else, she was a devoted and loving wife to her cherished husband of 58 years, Elbie “Steve” Nay, whom she married on August 5, 1967.

Also surviving are her sons, Jason Ryan Nay and wife Michelle of Morgantown, Michael Carson Nay of Clarksburg, and Waylon Andrew Nay of Clarksburg, and her daughter Janal Lynne Nay of Clarksburg. She was “Nanny Nay” to four grandchildren, Jacob Parker, Olivia Freeman, Brittany Nay and Kylie Nay; and three great grandchildren, Peyton, Devin, and Bailey. She also leaves behind her sisters, Debra Sigler of Ashville, NC, and Alesia Sheppard and husband Harold of Hepzibah.

Sandy was a graduate of Washington Irving High School and worked in Admissions at United Hospital Center with 35 years of service. She enjoyed reading, quilting, and listening to Elvis Presley music. She loved gardening, but above all she adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
