Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort, on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. A funeral service will be held the following day, Thursday, October 28, 2021 at 12:00 pm with Reverend Quint Pitts officiating. Interment will follow in the WV National Cemetery in Grafton, WV.

Dear Jim and family, I am devastated to learn of the loss of Shirley. I knew her through quilting. She was one of a kind. She always had a smile for everyone and she exuded class and love. I was so sad to hear of Shirley's death. My condolences go out to the whole family. I only knew Shirley through quilting but it was a pleasure to spend time with her and Jim at the various quilt shows we attended. She will be missed by so many. A lovely lady gone too soon.

Shirley was a class act. It just seems impossible that she is gone. She was so loving and a good good person. My deepest sympathy to her family.

The quilting world will not be the same without Shirley. She helped me make my first quilt from picking fabrics to finish. She gave so many, hours of pleasure in their quilting hobby. The grief journey it not easy. I pray for your comfort and peace
