Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison St, Nutter Fort on Wednesday from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm, where funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 10, 2024, at 11:00 am with Pastor Timothy Kelley presiding. Interment will follow in the Stonewall Park Cemetery.

Storm Allen “Geno” Kirby, 29, of Buckhannon, WV passed away on Monday, June 30, 2025 at his residence unexpectedly.

Storm was born on August 23, 1995 in Clarksburg, a son of James Allen and Heather K. McBride Kirby of Clarksburg.

In addition to his parents, Storm is survived by his brother, Hunter Luke Kirby, of Clarksburg; niece, Rashana Kirby of Bridgeport; and the love of his life, Sherry Burkhammer of Buckhannon. He is also survived by his maternal grandmother, Alice Bortot of Clearfield, PA; maternal grandfather, Edward McBride and wife Tammy of Clearfield, PA; paternal grandmother, Ireta Kirby of Clarksburg; his maternal great-grandparents, David and Marianne Hallstrom also of Clearfield PA; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends he considered family.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Tyler James Kirby; maternal grandfather, Ralph Bortot Jr.; and paternal grandfather, Dennis Kirby.

Storm was a graduate of Robert C Byrd class of 2014, an avid Dallas Cowboy, NY Yankee, LeBron James, and Star Wars fan. He was an animal lover and will be greatly missed by his faithful companions: Brodie, Zeke, Jake, Leia, Yuna and Freya. Storm also loved beach trips with his family, camping and exploring nature, watching sports, chess games with his dad and brother, and playing PlayStation.

He loved his family and friends with all his heart. Storm didn’t know a stranger and was an old soul that had a gift of speaking and loved to talk to everyone young and old alike. Storm you are so loved and will be greatly missed.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made out to Amos Carvelli Funeral Home.
