Ronald C. Garlow, 81, of Clarksburg passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2024. He was born in Clarksburg on September 19, 1942, a son of the late Elbert “Leo” and Geneva Jennings Garlow. He was preceded in death by his wife, Diana Sue Nose Garlow on January 31, 2024. Surviving are one son, Mark Garlow of Clarksburg; and two step-daughters, Renee Borror of Florida and Jacqueline “Jacquie” Borror of Clarksburg. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Elbert Garlow; and his beloved dogs, Murphy and Molly. Mr. Garlow was a graduate of Fellowsville High School in Preston County. He previously was a car salesman and retired as a school bus driver for Harrison County Board of Education. He was a member of Clarksburg Masonic Lodge No. 155 A.F. & A.M. He liked to work on vehicles and enjoyed taking walks at the VA Park. He was an animal lover, loved gardening and attended garden club meetings with his wife. The family of Mr. Garlow would like to extend a special “Thank you” to his caregivers and the staff at Taylor County Health Care Center. They would also like to express their sincere gratitude and appreciation to WVU Medicine In keeping with his wishes, Mr. Garlow will be cremated.
