Burial Date: May 9, 2017 Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort, WV on Monday, May 8, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The funeral Service will be at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Gary Martin presiding. Interment will follow at the Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery where full military rights will be accorded by the Harrison County Honor Guard. |

Robert Boyd Knight, 82, of Clarksburg passed away on Friday, May 5, 2017 at the United Hospital Center following a brief illness surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Clarksburg, WV on February 14, 1935 the son of the late Kenneth B. Knight and Clara L. Cain Knight. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor B. Knight, on December 8, 2008.
He is survived by one son, Kenneth E. Knight and wife Anita of Clarksburg, WV; one daughter, Kendra L. Mascaro and husband, Frank of Charlotte, NC; three grandchildren, Adam Knight and wife Chaley, Justin Knight and wife Karrissa and Madison Mascaro and five great grandchildren, Chatham Knight, Oliver Knight, Simon Knight, Lyndon Knight and Baby M. Knight. He is also survived by his faithful companion “Jack” his dog.
Mr. Knight was retired from the service department at the Sears Automotive Center and formerly worked for Anchor Hocking/Brockway Glass for over 30 years. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. He attended the Barnes Memorial Baptist Church and enjoyed hunting, NASCAR and especially watching his children and grandchildren play sports.
