A gathering of family and friends will be held at Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort on Saturday, December 30, 2017, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Bryant Bailey presiding.

Joseph Michael “Joe” Nusser, 51, of Clarksburg, WV, passed away on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at the Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.
He was born in Columbus, OH, on January 14, 1966, a son of the late Harry and Regina Maynfels Nusser.
He is survived by his wife Tina Starkey Nusser, whom he married on June 11, 2011.
He is also survived by one daughter, Michelle Peffers and husband David of Dresden, OH; one step-daughter, Amber Gompf of Lancaster, OH; two brothers, Bob Spencer and wife Tammy of Canal Winchester, OH, Gary Spencer and wife Karen of Lancaster, OH; seven grandchildren, PFC J.D. Peffers, Mason, Nevaeh, Kandice, Haleigh, Taylor, and Madison; as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one aunt, Hildegard Maynfels.
He was a graduate of Lancaster High School class of 1984, and was employed as a designer for Farber Custom Coaches. He was an active member of the Glen Falls Baptist Church, where he loved working with the youth. He loved Harley Davidson motorcycles, the Ohio State Buckeyes and collected Brass.
Per his request, Joe will be cremated.
