Barbara J. Burns, 85, of Clarksburg, WV passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2022. She was born in Morgantown, WV on May 2, 1936, a daughter of the late Jack McGee and Maud Donaldson.

She married Richard J. Burns on August 10, 1953. Richard preceded her in death in June of 1994.

Mrs. Burns is survived by her two daughters, Andrea Wilson and Katrina Roop (Daniel); her grandchildren, Michael Wilson (wife Lisa), Ryan Wilson, Richard Tresize, Robert Tresize and Ruth Ann Gregory, Christopher Roop, Ashley Roop; great grandchildren Abigail Wilson, Miley Wilson, Eva Wilson, Morgan Tresize, Aleigha Hayes, Cody Hayes Jr., and Athena Hayes; and son-in-law Robert Tresize.

She was the last surviving member of her immediate family, having been preceded in death by brothers Junior McGee (Juanita), Jack McGee (Marge), Kenny McGee (Helen), Ronnie McGee (Betty); and sisters Edith McGee, Garnet (Milford) Thompson. Barbara was also preceded in death by two sons, Richard and Hans Burns and daughter Coleen Tresize, and son-in-law Edward Wilson.

Barbara was formally employed by Dr. James Selario, Drs. Frank & Daniel DeMarino, and State Distributing before retiring. She volunteered and served on the board for Rainbow House for over 10 years, and enjoyed bowling and golfing.
