Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort, on Tuesday from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Sam Cale presiding. Interment will follow in the West Virginia National Cemetery.

I don’t believe there is any greater loss than losing our mother. I trust that the memories you have of her will guide you through this challenging time. As time goes by the hole in your heart will diminish somewhat, but will never completely close. Our hearts are heavy hearing about Aunt Betty’s passing, but we are grateful for the incredible years she shared with all of us. She truly was a wonderful person full of love, creativity, and kindness. I’ll always remember the warmth of her home whenever we visited. It’s comforting to imagine Aunt Betty and Uncle Jim together again, probably smiling and watching over all of us. The love she gave continues to echo through the lives of everyone she touched. Sharon, Vicky, Debbie, Jimmy, Steve, and everyone in the family, we are holding you close in our thoughts and prayers.
