Gloria “Faye” Pitts Wilson Pratt, age 79, of Nutter Fort, WV, passed away on March 20, 2025, at River Oaks Nursing Home, Clarksburg, WV.

Born on January 30, 1946, in Wetzel County, WV, to the late Elden V. and Elsie A. Pitts.

She is survived by one son, Tige S. Pratt (Monica) of Manassas, Va; one step-son, Richard E. Pratt II (Janet) of Clarksburg, WV; one step-daughter, Crystal A. Pratt Peters Stephens (Gerald) of Fairmont, WV; four granddaughters, Jennifer L. Pratt Neely Szendre ( Andrew) of Moultonborough, NH; Paige E. Peters Whitman (Ali) of Charleston, WV, Kaitlin M. Atkerson, of Greenwood, SC; and Tia R. Snyder, of Richwood, VA; five great-grandchildren, Cameron, Colin, and Claire Neely, of Moultonborough, NH, Annabelle Atkerson, of Greenwood, SC, and Clara E. Murphy, of Richwood, VA; one brother, Quint Pitts (Sarah) of Nutter Fort, WV; and one sister-in-law, Lisa Pitts Griffith (James), of Clarksburg, WV; as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Marcus Pitts and Kaje Pitts; one sister, Sherry Pitts Magee; her former husband Jack Wilson and the father of her son, Richard E. Pratt.

She was a graduate of Roosevelt-Wilson High School class of 64. She will be remembered as always having a kind and loving heart never forgetting birthdays and anniversaries and helping those in need. She enjoyed spending time with family and her beloved animals.

Family and friends may call on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort, WV from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm to conclude the visitation with Pastor Josiah Pitts presiding. Interment will follow in the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
