Although I never had the opportunity to meet Mr. Carter (Jesse) in person, I feel like I have through my friend, Brenda Carter Davis. It was so fun and inspirational to hear her stories about her Dad and all the adventures the family shared. He was truly a man of God and helped so many people in different ways. He had a great sense of humor, too, from what I heard in Brenda’s stories. His family was and will continue to be blessed as they remember his Godly wisdom and prayers for them as a family. I’m truly sorry for their loss but we know that he is now in the presence of his Heavenly Father. May our Lord and Savior bring them peace and comfort in the days ahead and help them to rejoice in knowing that one day they will all be together again. ♥️

Jesse was not only a man of God,but was a noble man to anyone whoever met him. He was a positive man with compassion in which I have never seen the likes of. He helped me tremendously when my Grandfather,Jim Heenan passed away. Jesse would keep an eye out for my Grandad, who lived in Adamston, when I was at work. I will never forget that or the friendship that we shared. Sometimes,at night,my right hand often hurts and I think to myself, that's just Jesse shaking it. I pray for Mary Jane and all of Jesse's family through this most difficult time.

You were the anchor of the family for many years and will be sorely missed. Many happy memories were made on our ventures together. Until we meet again, Jesse. My love and condolences to Mary Jane and the family. Rest In Peace.
