Joann Elaine Boggs Cox, 59, of Clarksburg, WV passed away on Tuesday, November 8, 2022.
She was born in Clarksburg on September 17, 1963, a daughter of the late James E. and Charlotte Barney Boggs.
Surviving are two sons, Ronald (R. J.) Haught and his wife Erica of Cincinnati, OH and Samuel Haught and his wife Sylvia of Dresden, TN; two granddaughters, Grace and Areli Haught; one brother, Jason Boggs and his wife RaeJean of Cincinnati, OH; one sister, Jayne Boggs Landacre of Bridgeport; nephews, Tyler Landacre and Jace Boggs; and niece, Joli Boggs.
Joann was a 1981 graduate of Liberty High School and a graduate of Regents College where she received her bachelor’s degree in nursing and was a Registered Nurse. She was very invested in her career mentoring young nurses and administering exceptional care and attention to numerous patients as she served as a CNA to Director of Nursing over the course of four decades. Joann loved horseback riding and absolutely adored her grandchildren and lived by the Kip Sawdy quote, “Life will change without your permission. It’s our attitude that determines the ride”.
