Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort, WV on Thursday, March 20th from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the Christ Episcopal Church, 123 South 6th Street, Clarksburg, WV, on Friday, March 21, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. with Father Christopher Scott presiding. Interment will follow at the Bridgeport Cemetery, Bridgeport, WV.

John was a much loved Chi Phi brother of the Delta Xi Chapter in Buckannon , WV . He was known for his positive energy and good advice to other members .
