Lance Lee Withrow, 65, of Clarksburg passed away on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at his residence.

He was born in Peoria, IL on August 29, 1955, a son of the late Delbert Eugene and Charlotte Lenore Bishop Withrow.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Patricia Willie Withrow, whom he married on July 7, 1979.

Also surviving are three children, Patricia “Michele” Jennings and her husband Eurie of Clarksburg, Nichole Elizabeth Stewart and her husband Joshua of Gastonia, NC and Lenora Lee Withrow of Clarksburg; eight grandchildren, Patricia “Amanda” Phillips and her companion Jason Wilmoth of Buckhannon, Tiffany Davison and her husband Robert of Grafton, Eurie “Lee” Jennings and his wife Alexis of Fairmont, Jordan R.L. Williams and his companion Megan Murphy of Lost Creek, Raven P.M. Williams of West Milford, Janie J.N. Selmon of Stonewood, Praylin A.V. Selmon of Stonewood and Alexa Quinn Stewart of Gastonia, NC; seven great grandchildren, Dixie Carroll, Patricia “Lily” Cozad, Marilynn Carroll, Austin Carroll, Max Lee Phillips, Trenton Jennings and Lucy Wilmoth; and one sister, Debbie Hodgdon and her husband Ernie of Portland, OR.

He was also preceded in death by seven siblings, his twin brother Vance D., Donald “Dutch”, Sandy, Sue, Mike, Glen and Linda.

Mr. Withrow was a retired glass worker at the Owens-Illinois Glass Plant in Oregon.

Lance loved music, played guitar and was a fan of classic rock and roll. He spent five years at the Greater Portland Baptist Church where he created a video ministry that is still being used today.
He loved playing Santa every year for the kids and was a great provider and family leader.

In keeping with his wishes, Mr. Withrow will be cremated. A Celebration of Life will be hosted by the family on Lance’s 66th birthday, Sunday, August 29, 2021 at a location and time to be announced.

He will be interred in the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens at a later date.
