Linda Regene (Gibson) Robey, 77, of Bridgeport, was welcomed in the arms of her Lord and Savior, on Thursday, August 14, 2025, at Maplewood Healthcare in Bridgeport.

Linda was born in Clarksburg, on May 29, 1948, a daughter of the late Harold Holt and Edna “Jeanne” Lake Gibson.

She is survived by her sister, Ruth Ann Spino, and her brother-in-law, William A. Spino of Bridgeport, and her nephew, Nicholas Evan Spino and wife Brianna of Bridgeport.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Deanna Lynn Robey; her brothers, David Holt Gibson and Paul Joseph Gibson; and her husband, Gerald “Butch” Robey. She also leaves behind many extended family members and precious friends.

Linda was a graduate of Washington Irving High School Class of 1966 and was a bookkeeper for Bykota, Inc. in Clarksburg since 1978. She was a very active member of United Methodist Temple.

Linda had a contagious sense of humor and will be greatly missed.

Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Monday, August 18, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Robert Perine and Pastor Jeff Perine presiding. Interment will follow in the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
