I worked with Mike years ago at the Ninth Grade Complex in Jefferson County. (Terrango - nickname we all called him) was a good man. He played pickup basketball with us on the weekends. He and I use to share stories of growing up playing various sports. He was always a good dude and I felt like I could always talk to him about anything. My favorite memory was when we were playing against our ninth grade basketball team the last day at school and he got up even with the rim and tipped in a shot right before the buzzer went off. We laughed and talked about that everytime we saw each other. RIP Buddy!!!

Michael was one of a kind. He always made us laugh! We have fond memories of him at Nutter Fort pool. He was always joking and kept a smile on our face. RIP Michael. You are missed. Two anonymous friends

Mike (a.k.a. Squirrel a.k.a. Mango) and I lived a few doors down from one another in the dorm freshman year at WVU. We quickly became friends and he would pop his head into my room when he heard me playing guitar and say "Nark, play me some Tesla." I have so many great memories of him and all the laughs we shared. One of the most memorable was when we and two other friends decided to take a road trip to New York. I grew up outside of the city and my parents were going to be out of town so we had the house to ourselves for a few days. About 2 hours into the 6 hour trip the transmission started to slip. There was nothing we could do but continue to drive 35 mph the rest of the way. What should have been 4 hours took almost 8. We were pulled over by the cops and nearly run off the road by a tractor trailer but we kept on going. I'll never forget when we saw the first sign for New York. Mike started screaming "We're going to New York City!" We finally made it and had a great time. RIP Mango, you were one of a kind.

Dear Family, It is with a heavy heart of sadness, to see our beloved Michael, pass from this earthly realm. We are grateful for his faith in our redeemer the Lord Jesus Christ. Michael we will always have you in our memory, times of happiness and laughter. The grief of our loss may be with us for a long time, but the joy of our memories will stay forever. Peace be with you.
