Michael Martin Blake, 67, of Clarksburg passed away on Sunday, December 5, 2021 in the Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center.

He was born in Green Bay, WI on October 27, 1954, a son of George Blake, Jr. who survives in Green Bay, WI, and the late June Blake.

He is survived by his wife, Candi Blake, whom he married in 1993.

Also surviving are one stepson, Shawn Murphy of WI, three grandchildren, Kammie, Elizabeth and Dakota Murphy; two sisters, Christine Blake and Debra Syring; and his Yorkie, Shadow
He was also preceded in death by one brother, Robert Blake; one sister, Julie Pernon, his father-in-law, Rondal Butcher; his mother-in-law, Anda Lee Butcher; and three sisters-in-law.

Michael was a United States Navy veteran and was a construction worker by trade. He was an outdoorsman, having enjoyed hunting and fishing as well as excelling in bowling. He was also an enthusiast of fast cars and old cars.

Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort on Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.

In keeping with his wishes, Michael will be cremated following the visitation.
