Obituaries

Nancy Lee Huffman, 90, of Clarksburg passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2023 in the United Hospital Center.

She was born in Clarksburg on April 5, 1932, a daughter of the late John and Sarah Scott Huffman.

She is survived by one niece, Janet Butcher and her husband Ray of Clarksburg; four nephews, Jim Fox and his wife Diane of Haywood, John Fox and his wife Berniece of Clarksburg, Jeff Fox and his wife Shawny of Grafton and Joe Fox and his wife Jennifer of Cleveland, OH; several great nieces, great nephews, great great nieces and great great nephews; and her best friends, whom were like her sisters, Eleanore and Georgette; her good friend Dave Owens; and her gray tabby cat, Tiny.

She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Westfall and Mildred Fox.

Nancy was a graduate of Victory High School and was the cook at Raymon’s Restaurant for over 40 years. She enjoyed reading the newspaper and magazines. She loved cats and she loved to shop and would spend entire days doing so. Nancy was Christian by faith and was a former member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison St., Nutter Fort on Wednesday from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, where funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2023.

Interment will be in the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
