Pamela Sue Jacobson Waugh, 78, of West Milford passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2024 at Mountain Living Community Assisted Living in Belington.
She was born July 27, 1946 in Hillsboro WI, a daughter of the late Robert Jacobson and Caroline Prill Jacobson.
Pam was a 1964 graduate of Washington Irving High School. She was proud to have experienced a variety of careers in her lifetime including radio show host, catering director, technical report writer and administrative assistant for John C. Giese Engineers. She owned and operated a ceramics studio and shop, The Clay Pot, in the 1970’s that became quite the family endeavor. Pamela organized well attended fundraising events for various charities, enjoyed volunteer work and was active in several social organizations. Her hobbies included crafting of all sorts, camping and reading. Her greatest joy was time spent with her “grands” and “greats”. She had a fun-loving spirit and generous heart.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson David C. Wygal “Trey” and son-in-law Jeff Thrift.
Pamela is survived by her three children, Kerri Davidson of Fairmont, Kimberly Thrift of Statesville,
NC and David R. Wygal and his wife Kim of West Milford: eight grandchildren, Sam Southern and his wife Rachel of Idamay, Marissa Host and her husband Will of Oakmont, PA, Jason Connolly and his wife Candice of Statesville, NC, Alexandria Watson and her husband Kyle of Statesville, NC, Jay McGahan and his wife Alaina of Statesville, NC, Bryan McGahan and his wife Jordan of Statesville, NC, Morgan Myers of Cleveland, NC and Kaitlyn Wygal of West Milford: fifteen great grandchildren, Amelia, Sam, Rene’, Elizabeth, Bethany, Abram, Bennett, Madalyne, Maislie, Raylan, Toby, Eden, Averie, Abigail and Kynlee. Pamela is also survived by her sister Kimberly Petruso and her husband Dan of Meadville, PA and her brother Kevin Jacobson of Statesville, NC.
The family would like to thank Dr. Melissa Dodrill and staff, Hospice of WVU United Hospital Center, Village Pharmacy of Lost Creek, Mountain Living Community Assisted Living and Mountain
Hospice.
