Sharon Jean DeBarr Baker, 74, of Lost Creek passed away on Thursday, April 29, 2021 in the United Hospital Center.

She was born in Kedron, WV, Upshur County, on February 26, 1947, a daughter of the late Eugene and Violet A. Montgomery DeBarr.

She is survived by her husband, Glen Baker, whom she married on October 22, 1964; two daughters, Deidre Gaines and her husband Richard of Isaac’s Creek, and Tonya Beiler and her husband John of Sarasota, FL; three grandchildren, Chelsea Jett and her husband Jonathon of Groton, CT, Isaac Gaines and his companion Mariah Potocnzy of Fairmont, and Luke Gaines and his wife Samantha (Kennel) of Sarasota, FL; two great grandchildren, Addie Jett and Aria Jett; and four siblings, Gary DeBarr and his wife Martha, Ronald DeBarr, Sheila Grose and her husband Jimmy, and Rodney DeBarr; and several nieces and nephews.

Sharon was a graduate of Hanahan High School in N. Charleston, SC and was a sales clerk at K-Mart and Dollar General. She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother, and was a member of the Lost Creek Church of God.

Funeral services will be private with Pastor Ronnie Beeson officiating. The family requests that those invited please wear a mask.
