Obituaries

Zelphia Meadows of Buckhannon Pike, Lost Creek, formerly of Winding Way, Clarksburg went to her Heavenly home on March 20, 2021.

Zelphia is survived by her two children and their spouses, David and Michelle Bunnell of Youngsville, NC and Neil and Amy Nestor of Lost Creek; and her siblings, Richard Godfrey of Sardis, Joyce Beverlin and Lula Belle Maxwell of Clarksburg. She will also be fondly remembered by her three grandchildren, Darron (Lori) Nestor, Nick (Barb) Nestor, Morgan (Rob) Walters. She loved being MeMaw to eight great grandchildren, Braylee, Kai, Kayden, Rylan, KK, Bronxn, Clayton and River.  Zelphia was also survived by many nieces and nephews, her life-long friend, Susie Palmer, and her beloved puppy, Annie.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Pastor David Meadows; her parents, Mary and Archie Godfrey; her brothers, Ronald Lynn Godfrey, Jerry Godfrey, Robert Godfrey and Infant brother Ronald Lee Godfrey; and her sister, Carolyn Sue Kittle Schultz.

Zelphia loved the Lord with all her heart. She brought much love and joy to all who knew her and will be greatly missed by many.

Private services will be held by the family.
