Crystal Dawn Smallwood Carder

Crystal Dawn Carder, 57, of Clarksburg passed away on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 in the United Hospital Center.

She was born in Clarksburg on May 29, 1964, a daughter of the late Rebecca “Becky” Catherine Smallwood Cutright.

Surviving are two daughters, Sarah Carder and Sierra Carder, both of Clarksburg; three grandchildren, Naleigha Carder, Julian Thornton and Tayvon Carder; her brother, Jeff Cutright and his wife Elisha of Clarksburg; her sister, Lorri Hickman and her husband Josh of Clarksburg; Wendy Wamsley of Clarksburg who was like a sister to Crystal; and several brothers and sisters in Florida along with several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her father, Candon “Cutty” Cutright.

Crystal was a medical assistant at the Regional Jail. She loved crafting, sitting on her porch, camping, watching television, the Dallas Cowboys and watching her grandchildren play.

Crystal was a genuinely good person and her grandchildren were her whole life.

In keeping with her wishes, Crystal will be cremated.
