Burl Edward “Ed” Gibson, 70, of Lost Creek passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2024 in the United Hospital Center. He was born in Columbus, OH on February 14, 1954, a son of the late Willard Wilson and Ruth Virginia Bowman Gibson. He is survived by two sons, Brian Robey of Lost Creek and Sean Robey also of Lost Creek; one daughter, Maryann Montgomery of Cambridge, OH; 10 grandchildren, Alicia Gibson, David Montgomery, Jr., Caleb Robey, Jaylyn May, Mya Robey, Caden Robey, Collin Robey, Brian Robey, Jr., Taner Robey, and Presten Robey; four great grandchildren; and two sisters, Betty Needles of Columbus, OH and Ruth Fleming of Pataskala, OH. He was also preceded in death by one son, Eric Robey; and one brother, Bucky Gibson. Mr. Gibson was a truck driver with ABCO Trucking. He loved golfing and sports of all kinds. He coached youth football and was a Cleveland Browns and the Ohio State Buckeyes fan. Ed had a great sense of humor and was a member of the Sunny Croft Golf Course.
