Gaynell Chinault Lipps

Gaynell Chinault Lipps, 98, of Nutter Fort, WV, passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at the Clarksburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born in Nutter Fort, WV, on August 11, 1926, a daughter of the late Lorraine Lipps Guice.

Gaynell graduated from Roosevelt Wilson High School in 1944 and retired after 40 years of service as an operator for C & P and Verizon Telephone Company.

She is survived by one sister, Betty Krivosky of Nutter Fort, WV, and several nieces and nephews including a special niece, Jeanne Guzzi. Also surviving are sisters-in-law, Virginia Guice and Carol Guice

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert “Sonny” Guice, Roy “Pete” Guice, and Walter “Bud” Guice; and her nephew Darren Krivosky.

Gaynell was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. She loved reading and working puzzles.

A private interment will be held in the Stonewall Park Cemetery.
