Lisa S. McManus

Lisa S. McManus, 67, of Clarksburg passed away on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 in the United Hospital Center.

She was born in Clarksburg on April 7, 1958 a daughter of the late George and Carroll Whaley McManus.

Surviving are one brother, James “Bob” McManus and his wife Vicki of Jane Lew; two nephews, James “Jimmy” McManus and his wife Melissa of Salem and Christopher McManus of Clarksburg; one niece, Samantha Drake and her husband Dylan of Clarksburg; and two great nephews, Aydin and Brennen.

Lisa was a 1976 graduate of Washington Irving High School and attended Coastal Carolina University where she earned her teaching degree. She was a schoolteacher for the Clay County Board of Education.
Lisa loved her dogs and was a NASCAR fan. She loved flowers and gardening.

In keeping with her wishes, Lisa will be cremated. Inurnmenmt will take place in the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens at a later date.
