Jed Eugene Arnett

Jed Eugene Arnett, 65, of Clarksburg, WV, passed away on Tuesday, June 15, 2025, at the United Hospital Center.

He was born in Fort Raleigh, Kansas, on September 10, 1959, son of the late Clarence E. and Barbara A. Williams Arnett.

Mr. Arnett is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth Smith of Katy, TX, and Emmakay Swiger of Clarksburg, WV; one brother David S. Arnett of Colorado Springs, CO; one sister, Veronica J. Arnett of Meadowbrook, WV; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Velda J. Westfall.

Mr. Arnett was a veteran in the U.S. Army, and was self-employed in the construction business.

He was an outdoorsman, who loved fishing, hunting and going on walks.  Above, all his daughters were the light of his life.

Honoring Mr. Arnett’s wishes, he will be cremated.
