Burial Date: October 1, 2025 Family and friends will be received at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort on Tuesday from 3-8 PM. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at 11:00 AM with Curtis Edwards presiding. Interment will follow in the West Virginia National Cemetery where full military services will be accorded. |
Roger Neil Rollins, 68, of Clarksburg, passed away on Friday, September 26, 2025, at his residence with his family by his side. Born on July 27, 1957, in Clarksburg, he was the son of the late George Richard (Dick) Rollins and Late Marie “Lois” Tharp Rollins. Roger was a proud United States Army veteran, a true road warrior who loved riding his Harley and camping under the stars. He worked at Fourco Glass (AFG) for over 20 years before retiring. He was known for his huge heart and for being a loving “Pappy” not just to his own grandchildren, but to all their friends as well. He is survived by his lifelong companion for many years, Sharon Mae Oldaker Rollins, his brother Geary Richard Rollins, and his three daughters: Amanda Taneil Travis (Rollins), Ashley Hope Foster (Rollins), and Erin Nichole Bowers (Rollins). Also surviving are several grandchildren, including Savannah Cheyann Travis and her companion Tiras Bianco, Grant Stephen Travis. In addition to his parents, Roger was preceded in death by an infant brother, Robert Matthew Rollins.
