Joseph Louis Thomas

Joseph Louis Thomas, 35, of Quiet Dell, passed unexpectedly on Monday, November 3, 2025. He was born on April 23, 1990 in Clarksburg to Charles ‘Chuck’ Patrick and Julie Ann Critchfield Thomas.

Joseph was a 2009 graduate of Bridgeport High School and an employee of Job Squad in Harrison County for 16 years.

In addition to his parents, Joseph is survived by two sisters, Shannon Bragg (Billy) and Stephanie Compton (Chad); one brother, Chuckie Thomas (Lori); four nieces; Camryn, Charlee, Brennan and River; three nephews, Kolby, Taylor and Thomas; his maternal grandparents, William and Judy Stallman; his dear friend Josh Staub; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Joseph was predeceased in death by his paternal grandparents, Mort and Thelma Cayton, paternal grandfather Louis Thomas and maternal grandfather Jennings Critchfield.

Joseph was loved fiercely and will be missed deeply.

Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort on Friday, November 7, 2025 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, where funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm with Chris Campbell presiding. Interment will follow in the Trinity Cemetery.
