Betty L. Hershman, 79, of Lost Creek passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2025 in the United Hospital Center following a brief illness. She was born in Clarksburg on April 30, 1946, a daughter of the late Joseph Woodrow and Mary Adeline Wolfe Coffindaffer. She is survived by one son, Gary Lee Hershman and his wife Donna of Buckhannon; two grandsons, Josef Hershman and his companion Natalie and Joel Hershman; two brothers, Feris Woodrow “Bud” Coffindaffer and his wife Jean of Bridgeport and James Coffindaffer and his wife Prudence of LaBelle, FL; and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her infant daughter, Shelia Lynn Hershman and her sister, Mary Jo Greathouse. Mrs. Hershman was formerly employed at Pet Supply Plus and was a member of the West Milford United Methodist Church. She was a WVU and Pittsburgh Steeler fan. She enjoyed ceramics and was a hard worker. Betty was a loving mother and sister and dearly loved her dog “Duke”.
