Linda Kay White Johnson, 84, of Nutter Fort, passed away on Friday, February 13, 2026, at the River Oaks Nursing Facility. She was born in Clarksburg on December 21, 1941, a daughter of the late John L. and Lucille DeMark White. Linda is survived by four sons, Rick L. Johnson and wife Lucy of Walkersville, Mark W. Johnson and wife Shirley of West Milford, Bryan E. Johnson and wife Paula of Nutter Fort, and Robert R. Johnson and wife Tammy of Clarksburg; one daughter, Tina Johnson Kiser of Clarksburg; 10 grandchildren, Savannah Bennet(Jeffrey), Carissa Bush(Jesse), Ashley Byrd, Lauren Maxwell(Josh), Olivia Johnson(fiancé, Ben Smith), Tyrus Johnson, Bryce Johnson, James Cody Johnson(Meagen), Tiffany Rawe(Aaron)and Rebecca Johnson; and 17 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her grandson, Samuel Kiser. Linda was a graduate of Roosevelt Wilson High School, class of 1958. She spent her life raising her children. She loved to cook, and being outdoors, especially in the mountains of West Virginia. Linda enjoyed shopping, even more so if a great deal was involved, and talking on the phone with her friends and family. She was a member of Christian Missionary Alliance Church, and loved reading her bible. Above all, family was the most important thing in Linda’s life. She loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren fiercely.
