Rudolph “Rudy” Bozarth, 81, of Clarksburg, WV, passed away on Friday, February 20, 2026, while in the Pierpont Center Nursing Home. Rudy was born on April 25, 1944, in Trenton, NJ, a son of the late Ashfield and Anna Mae Bozarth. He is survived by his wife Jan Warner Bozarth who resides at their home in Clarksburg. Also surviving him are his two sons, Brian Scott Bozarth and his wife Julie of Bridgeport, and Mark Alan Bozarth and his wife Traci of Clarksburg; four grandchildren, Drake Bozarth, Araya Bozarth, Lacy Bozarth, and Levi Bozarth; two brothers, William Bozarth and his wife Karen of Beckley, and Walter Bozarth of Maryland; as well as his sister-in-law, Patricia Bozarth of Virginia. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Ashfield Bozarth II. Rudy was a graduate of Salem College and received his master’s degree from West Virginia University. He spent his career as a teacher for North Marion High School where he taught shop class and enjoyed sharing his love of woodworking with his students. He loved spending time in the outdoors and loved the color blue. He was a long-time member of Simpson Creek Baptist Church.
