Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort, on Wednesday from 3:00 – 8:00 pm where a service will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at 11:00 am with Evangelist Jesse Phillips presiding. In keeping with her wishes she will be cremated following the service. |

Eva Marie Wolfe Brown, 57, of Bridgeport, WV, passed away on Friday, March 6, 2026, at United Hospital Center. She was born on September 11, 1968, in Clarksburg, WV, a daughter of the late Harlie and Judy Brown Wolfe. She is survived by her husband, Michael Brown, who she married August 26, 2006. Also surviving are her sisters, Regina Mealey of Bridgeport and Christine Hayhurst and her husband Brian of Jane Lew and Suellen Waldvogel of Maryland; father and mother-in-law Roger and Verlon Brown of Enterprise; several nieces and nephews. Eva was a graduate of Roosevelt-Wilson High School Class of 1986. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Fairmont State College. She spent her career as a Financial Technician for the FBI, where she retired with over 33 years of service. She was a proud former employee of Bonnie Belles Pastries in Nutter Fort. She was an avid WVU and Nascar fan. She enjoyed completing word search puzzles, playing monopoly on her phone, and loved attending trivia night at various places. She enjoyed selling things on Facebook marketplace. She liked to spend time camping but turned the experience into “Glamping”. One of her favorite passions was her dogs, Koal and Zoey who preceded her in death. She actively attended the Shinnston Church of Christ.
