LisBeth J Trunzo (Beth), beloved wife, mother, and servant of God, passed away March 25, 2026 at the age of 76. She was a light to everyone fortunate enough to know her, and a woman of deep faith, fierce love, and remarkable resilience.

Born to Audrey and Joseph, she built a life defined by devotion: to her family, her community, and her God. She faced illness with grace and courage, inspiring those around her with her quiet strength and infectious smile.

For many years, she served her Catholic community as a Pastoral Associate and Director of Religious Education, where she had a rare gift for helping children’s faith come alive. She carried one simple, powerful message wherever she went: God is Love. Alongside her husband Thom, she also co-led a Native American prayer circle, reflecting her deeply inclusive spirit and her belief that the sacred could be found in every tradition and every person.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Thom; her five daughters, Jennifer Tracy (Nancy), Valerie Tracy (Phil), Katie Kosydar (Matthew), Sarah Parrino (John), and Rachel Bunter (Joe); her ten beloved grandchildren, Tracy, Lily, Audrey, Jonah, Claira, Scarlett, Simon, Nora, Sage, and Luke; and her sisters, Barb and Becky. She was also cherished by many dear friends, including the “Ya-Yas.”

She was preceded in death by her parents, Audrey Jagoda Williams, Joseph Jagoda, and LeRoy Williams; and by her son, Joseph.

Her family invites those whose lives she touched to consider a donation in her memory to Nazareth Farm (nazarethfarm.org/donate) or WVU Medicine Hospice (givetouhc.org/hospice) in lieu of flowers.
