Hunter Lynn Queen

Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison St, Nutter Fort, on Monday, March 30, 2026, from 2:00 pm until the time of the funeral service at 6:00 pm with Lou Ortenzio presiding.

In keeping with Hunter’s wishes, he will be cremated following the service.

Hunter Lynn Queen, 30, of Bridgeport, WV passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2026.

Hunter was born on December 2, 1995, a son of Linda Oliveto Queen of Nutter Fort and the late Martin Lynn Queen.

Hunter is survived by his twin sister, Holli Jarvis and her husband Ryan of Parkersburg; and brothers, Derek Sprouse and his husband Logan of Fairmont, and Marty Queen and his wife Cathy of Bridgeport. He was a proud uncle to his nieces, Avery and Payton; and his nephew Jordan. Hunter is also survived by his paternal grandparents, Fray G. Queen and Rosalyn Queen of East View; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his companion, Heather Gaston and her four daughters, Kloie, Elsie, Macie, and Rylie, who he adored.

In addition to his father, Hunter is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Joseph and Lorraine Oliveto.

Hunter was a 2014 graduate of Bridgeport High School and United Technical Center, where he earned a certificate in welding technology. Hunter loved checking out all types of cars, going to coffee shops, and spending time with his friends and family on moonshine mountain.

In lieu of flowers, the family request friends to consider a donation to “Arch Recovery Center”, Attention: C.W. Dent, at 132 William Lane, Mt. Clare, WV 26408.
