Janice Elaine Smith

Janice Elaine Smith, 67, of Clarksburg, WV, passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at the United Hospital Center.

She was born in Clarksburg on November 8, 1958, a daughter of the late Robert C. and Orvilla “Helen” Riffle Smith.

Surviving Janice are two sisters, Sharon L. “Sherry” Clark and Brenda “Kay” Pandora, both of Clarksburg; and two nephews, David Clark and Michael Spangler.

Janice was a graduate of Liberty High School. She worked as a secretary for the Harrison County Health Department, retiring in 2013.

Cremation services were held for Janice.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at 11:00 am at the Christian Assembly Church, 316 Buckhannon Pike, Nutter Fort, WV 26301, with Pastor Fred Aves officiating.
