Cindy Weekley Dyer left us to be with her heavenly father on the morning of Thursday April 30th, 2026 at age 64 after a three-year valiant battle with cancer. She passed peacefully at her home in Bridgeport surrounded by family. She is preceded in death by her parents, Harlan and Imogene Weekley, and her sister, Linda Kay Este. She is survived by her sons and their families, Ben & Thuy, Eden, Evelyn, and Ezra Dyer of Bridgeport, Adam & Rhea, Iley, Lorenn, and Witt Dyer of Bridgeport, Zach & Rachel, Zoe, and Elle Dyer of Bridgeport, granddaughter Erin Taylor Grey, her brothers David and Eugene Weekley, and her sister Stephanie Pratt. Cindy embodied the love of Jesus and shined a bright light on everyone who crossed her path. She could talk to anyone, anywhere, and by the end of the conversation, they felt known. That was her way. She showed up—for family, for friends, for her church, for anyone who needed her—and somehow always knew exactly what was needed. More than anything, Cindy was a mom and a grandma. That wasn’t just something she did—it was who she was. Her children and grandchildren were her lifeblood, the center of her world, and the reason behind everything she gave. She was the kind of mother who made sure there were always enough snacks, enough sunscreen, enough love—for every golf tournament, every trip, every kid who walked through her door, and there were many. Cindy was a mom not just to her own, but to anyone who needed one. Cindy’s faith was inspiring and unshakeable. Her love was immense and comforting. She carried a steady optimism through life, a positivity that didn’t waver even when things were hard. Over the last three years, she faced adversity with remarkable strength, grace, faith, and resilience. Even in her most difficult moments, she remained the foundation of her family, still giving, still supporting, still putting others before herself. Family was everything to Cindy, and it always had been. She is survived by the family she loved so deeply, who will carry forward her kindness, her warmth, and her unwavering devotion to the people she held closest. She was born to be a mother, and she was one of the greatest this world has ever seen.
