David Wayne Lindsey

David Wayne Lindsey, 66, of Shinnston WV, passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2026 at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown WV.

He was born in Shinnston on January 17, 1960, a son of the late Jack Dale and Mary Katherine Zvonaric Lindsey.

David is survived by his three sisters, Kathy L. Maze and husband Harold of Four States, Linda G. Haught and husband Larry of Stonewood, and Patty L. Matheny and husband David of Salem; as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, David is preceded in death by his two brothers, Jack and Alan D. Lindsey.

David loved his cat, Kid Rock. In his free time he enjoyed watching TV, especially Star Trek, Star Wars, and Transformers.

In keeping with his wishes, David will be cremated.
