Quick-witted and hilariously funny, Judy was a constant source of entertainment to all. Her giggle was infectious. She never took herself too seriously and didn’t coddle those who did. Judy, along with Nick, never missed a band or theater performance, volleyball match, or any event that was special to her family. She loved going on family vacation each year where she enjoyed having her morning coffee on the patio, watching the ocean and taking morning walks on the beach with Nick. Judy loved a fun game of cards, which she continued to play with her family until just prior to her passing. Judy was a 1959 graduate of Washington Irving High School and a faithful member, trustee and elder of the Presbyterian Church of Our Savior. She served on the Presbytery Session for many years and personally made certain that each week the church bulletin was prepared for each service. Over the years she taught Sunday School, coordinated events, and did whatever she could to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Judy dreamed of becoming a nurse and, once her children were raised, made that dream a reality. She worked for several years at Lincoln High School assisting children in the special education classroom.
