Renee Sims-Billings

Renee Sims-Billings, 65, of Nutter Fort, passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at United Hospital Center.

She was born in Clarksburg, WV, on April 16, 1961, a daughter of the Late Texas Varnes “Sonny” Simms, Jr and the late Shelba Jean Limer.

Renee was preceded in death by her husband, Franky Billings.

She is survived by her daughter, Bianca Billings of Nutter Fort; her grandson Ayden Billings; one brother, Anthony Wayne Limer and his wife Marilyn; three sisters, Ziva Sims of California, Toxanna Simms of Youngstown, and Samatha Simms of Tennessee. She also leaves behind eight nieces and nephews, Chloe Simms of Tennessee, Devin Stanford of Youngstown, Tyler Simms of Clarksburg, Tomari Limer, Christopher Bledsoe, Crystal Bledsoe, and Brian Bledsoe; and a great nephew, Kingston A. Powell.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by her nephew, Chase Oliver Howard.

Renee retired from the Louis A Johnson VAMC as a Medical Coder.

Honoring her wishes she was cremated.
