Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort on Sunday, July 12, 2026 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm, where a prayer service will be held at 6:00 pm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, July 13, 2026 at 10:00 am at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Reverend Father Freddie D’Souza as Celebrant.

Interment will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery.

Tamara “Tammy” LeBrun Griffith, 80, of Clarksburg passed away on Tuesday, July 7, 2026.

She was born in Clarksburg on June 1, 1946, a daughter of the late George and Sue (Femia) LeBrun.

Tammy was married to her high school sweetheart, David Jackson Griffith, on October 26, 1968, who preceded her in death on February 15, 2025.

Surviving are one son, Brian Scott Griffith and his wife Linda of Clarksburg; three daughters, Tracy Lynn Valenti of Covington, KY, Kristy Dawn Scarlata and her husband Paul Anthony, II of Inwood, WV and Kelly Ann Weaver and her husband Tim of Lincoln, RI; 10 grandchildren, Madeline Anderson and her husband Mason, Abigail Cava and her husband Vincenzo, Ella, Samuel and Jackson Griffith; Celina Valenti and her partner Nick Levo, Courtney and Justin Valenti, and Delaney and Casey Weaver; four great grandchildren, Evelyn and Carson Levo, Easton and Kinsley Anderson.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Rick LeBrun.

Tammy graduated from Washington Irving High School in 1964 and St.Mary’s Hospital School of Nursing in 1968. Tammy was a dedicated Registered Nurse for 22 years; most of those years were spent at United Hospital Center. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

Her kind and generous spirit was evident in her unwavering support and involvement in her children and grandchildren’s many activities through the years. She was an active volunteer within their schools, the Stealey Swim Team, Girl Scouts and Cub Scouts. She enthusiastically cheered from the sidelines at their sporting events, dance recitals, concerts and shows.

Tammy loved to cook and host family and friends for the holidays and special occasions. She was always willing to babysit or dog sit, and she found great joy in treating her grandkids to shopping sprees which always resulted in hilarious fashion shows!
