Naomi Jean “Jeanie” Hileman Barnes, 79, of Stonewood, WV, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at United Hospital Center, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Clarksburg, WV, on August 13, 1947, she was a cherished daughter of the late Floyd and Virginia Murl Mace Hileman. Jeanie was reunited in rest with her lifelong partner, Leonard “Mack” Minigh, who preceded her in death on March 8, 2023. She leaves behind a loving family, including her children: Robin McDonald and her husband Jesse of Clarksburg, Julie Stewart and her husband Jason of Sand Fork, and Perry Minigh and his wife Sharon of Jane Lew. Her memory lives on through her grandchildren—Cassandra Coe, Noah Lehosit, Jacob Stewart, Isaac Minigh, Elijah Minigh, and Hunter McDonald and his wife Samantha, Briana Lawson and her husband Josh, Gracie, Savory and Taylor; and great grandchildren, Tegan, Ila, Vivian, Braxton, Easton and Mack. She is also survived by her six siblings: Ruth Martin, Mary Morris and husband Jim, Aaron Hileman and wife Sheila, Kathy Jackson and husband Aaron, Debbie Adams and husband Dale, and Mark Hileman and wife Debbie; as well as many nieces, nephews, and her faithful K-9 sidekick, Diesel James. A graduate of Victory High School’s Class of 1965, Jeanie furthered her education at West Virginia Business College. She spent 46 dedicated years as a clerk with Dominion Energy Transmission, Inc., retiring in 2014. Jeanie loved the Lord and was a devoted member of McWhorter United Methodist Church, where she shared her love of music in the choir. In her free time, she enjoyed watching HGTV and relaxing with Hallmark Christmas movies. Remembered for her gentle, welcoming spirit and remarkable generosity, she had a special talent for giving gifts and filling the holidays with warmth. Above all, her greatest joy was caring for those around her and treasuring those she loved. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the McWhorter United Methodist Church, P.O.
