Randall Eugene “Randy” Queen, 79, of Morgantown passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 18, 2026 in the Ruby Memorial Hospital. He was born in Clarksburg on January 28, 1947, a son of the late Ernest Kenneth and Madelyn Smith Queen. He was married to Karole Conrad Queen on June 26, 1976, who preceded him in death on August 31, 2020. Surviving are two daughters, Valare (Dale) Miller of Morgantown and Amie Hartley of Morgantown; four grandchildren, Dylan Miller and his fiancé Katelyn Geiger, Ava (Tyler) Kalbaugh, Kendyll Miller and her partner Jordin Matheny and Kolby Stahl; 3 great grandchildren, Weston and Jaxson and Oakley Kalbaugh; one sister, Karen Carvelli (Jim) of Stonewood; sisters-in-law, Winifred Holland, Miriam Bland, and Janet Conrad; and brothers-in-law, Russel (Jim) Conrad and Paul Morris. Mr. Queen was a 1964 graduate of Washington Irving High School and attended college classes in Washington, DC. He was a Human Resources Technician for the federal government and was Lutheran by faith. Randall previously worked with USBA-FS in Washington, DC, NIOSH human resources in Morgantown and retired after 40 years with the federal government from DOE-BETL human resources in Morgantown. Randall served on the board of Stonewood Forests HOA in Morgantown, coached girls’ basketball at Ridgedale Elementary School, taught Sunday school at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church Choir.
