(Bobby) Robert Alan Henning Jr, 46, of Clarksburg passed away on October 10,2026 after a long, hard, and courageous battle with Huntington’s Disease.
He was born in Clarksburg on May 28th, 1980, a son of Bob and Lynn Henning of Clarksburg.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his daughter, Alyvia Henning and son, Brody Henning. Siblings Erica Henning and Dustin Henning. As well as his uncle, aunts, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Georgia Lipscomb and Forrest Watson, paternal grandparents Richard and Rachel Henning, and his aunt Susie McCune, with whom he always had a special relationship with growing up, and loved her like a second mother.
He graduated in 1998 from South Harrison High School. He loved working on and modifying his vehicles, going to classic car shows, and watching his favorite football team, the Pittsburgh Steelers.
His biggest blessing was his children. He was the true definition of an involved father and loved them beyond measure. Nothing made him happier than sitting on the sidelines cheering them on, as he was so very proud of them. This disease took away time but not the love and devotion he had for them.
I want to extend my appreciation to the staff of Autumn Lake of Crystal Springs for the loving care of my son the last couple years.
Forever you will be my little boy playing match box cars in the windowsill. I will love and miss you till we meet again.
Following cremation there will be a private family memorial.
