Karen (Jones) Glover Merancio, 72, of Clarksburg passed away on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 in the United Hospital Center. She was born in Doddridge County on April 1, 1949, a daughter of the late Alfred and Pearl Leasure Jones. She is survived by her husband, Dave Merancio of Clarksburg; one son, Charles Glover and (Angie) of Clarksburg, and Billie Jo Jones (Robert Lee Jones, Jr.) of Clarksburg; one step-son, Daniel Sheldon Merancio (April) of Bridgeport; seven grandchildren, Carolyn Jean Jones, Robert William Lee Jones, Ashley Nicole Edgell, Keeann Paige Glover, Charlie Christen Glover, Hunter William Glover and Angelina Marie Glover; one step granddaughter, Zoey Grace Merancio; four great grandchildren, Bucky Allen Lee Ashcraft, Sophia Leann Jones, Mika Bush and Robert William Lee Jones, Jr.; one brother, Kenneth Jones (Kathy) of Harrison County; two half-brothers, Alfred Eugene Jones, II (Martha) of Clarksburg, and Mike Jones (Linda) of Clarksburg; two half-sisters, Janet Sutherland (Jerry) of Franklin, WV and Mary Jo Leggett (Russell) of Pennsboro; and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by one son, Terry Jones; one sister, Tina Jones; one half-sister, Ellen McMullen; and her step-mother, Mary Jones. Karen formerly employed at Anchor Hocking, having later worked at several nursing homes before retiring. She was a member of Isaac Creek Ministries. In keeping with her request, Karen will be cremated. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. |
