Edward Franklin “Ed” Maxwell, 50, of Nutter Fort passed away on Wednesday, July 20, 2022. He was born in Flemington on October 27, 1971, a son of the late Henry and Marcilee Dodd Maxwell. He is survived by his wife, Lorri Ledsome; two step-sons, Bradley Ledsome and his fiancé Kaylee Fogle of Boonsboro, MD and Brandon Ledsome of Nutter Fort; one step-daughter, Amanda Dixon and her husband Tyler of Fairmont; two step grandchildren, Gabriella and Aiden Ledsome; two sisters and two brothers. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one sister, Tambra Flint. Ed loved talking to people and never met a stranger, and he loved his dog, Goliath. He loved watching the WVU Mountaineer’s football and basketball teams and was a fan of all Stephen King movies. Ed was a mechanic at heart and knew everything there was to know about cars. He was a member of the Centerbranch Church. A private graveside service will be held in the Rose Hill Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be extended to the family at www.amoscarvelli.com.
