Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort, on Tuesday from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the St. James Catholic Church, 2107 Pride Ave, Clarksburg, WV on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. with Father Akila Rodrigo as Celebrant. Interment will follow in the Holy Cross Cemetery.

Frances Cecelia Palagino Pandora, 95, of Clarksburg, WV, passed away on Saturday, November 15, 2025.

Frances was born on August 29, 1930, in Clarksburg, a daughter of the late Frank and Lucia Costa Palagino.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Anthony “Tony” Pandora, Jr.

Surviving her are two daughters, Barbara Hill of Good Hope and Regina Straight of Fairmont; four grandchildren, April Knight, Crystal Turner, Chris Straight and Andrea Straight; seven great-grandchildren, Corey Blake and his fiancé Kiaira Oliverio, Courtney Knight, Darin Knight, Addison Knight, Anthony Turner, Farrah Straight and Ameerah Straight; close family friend, Sherry Fanelli; as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her three sisters, Rose Nardella, Geraldine Pulice and Carmela Fiands; and brother, Pete “John Peters” Palagino. She was the last surviving member of her family.

Frances was a graduate of Victory High School Class of 1948. She worked for Craig Motors as a finance consultant. She loved to watch game shows and complete daily crossword puzzles. She enjoyed eating good food.  Above all else, she adored her family. She was Christian by faith and a member of St. James Catholic Church where she sang in the choir.
