Patricia Ann Lafferty Wolford, 83, of Mt. Clare passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2026 in the United Hospital Center.
She was born in Clarksburg on March 28, 1942, a daughter of the late Walter Dean and Lavada Skinner Lafferty,
She was married to Larry Wolford, Sr., who preceded her in death on November 23, 2014.
Surviving are seven children, Clifford Wolford and his wife Kimberly of Clarksburg, Larry Eugene Wolford, Jr. and his companion Helen Miller, Roxana Pitts of Clarksburg, Timothy Wolford and his wife Cynthia of Clarksville, TN, Kevin Wolford and his wife Christina of Clarksburg, Patrick Wolford of Lumberport and Ashley Scheuvront and her husband James of Mt. Clare; 19 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; one brother, Clarence Lafferty of Clarksburg; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Stephanie Lorraine Edwards; three brothers, Walter, James and Charles Lafferty; and three sisters, Norma Woofter, Carol Bunch and Virginia Lafferty.
Mrs. Wolford loved cooking and baking. She had a green thumb and enjoyed gardening. She loved her dogs Baby Jo, Rocky, Puggsly and Cody and her grandchildren were her world.
