Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison St, Nutter Fort, on Tuesday from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, where funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at 11:00 am with Rev. Rod Heckert presiding. Interment will follow at the Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.

Antoinette “Toni” Mano Skinner, 88, of Mt. Clare, WV, passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at the United Hospital Center, surrounded by her family.
She was born in Clarksburg on January 9, 1938, a daughter of the late James and Verna Mae Ochetree Mano.
Toni married her high school sweetheart, Don Peck Skinner on October 29, 1958, who preceded her in death on March 11, 1995.
Surviving are three sons, James Skinner and wife Denise of Lost Creek, Timothy Lon Skinner and wife Tammy of Mt. Clare, and Don Kirk Skinner and wife Dee Dee of Mt. Clare; three grandchildren, Seth Michael, Mandy Michele, and Kimberly Jo; three great grandchildren, Bella Faith, Casey James and Kaleb Michael; two great-great grandchild, Adalynn Rose and Ryleigh Mae; one brother, Gerald “Jerry” Mano who was always there for her; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, Toni was preceded in death by two grandsons, James Scott Skinner and Timothy Levi Skinner; one infant sister, Janet Marie Mano; one sister-in-law, Gloria Mano; and one special niece, Dalynn Mano.
Toni was a graduate of Lost Creek High School, class of 1955. In 1953, Toni was the first-place recipient of the Mt. Clare Teen-Age popularity contest and was awarded a United States Defense Bond and ribbon inscribed “Miss Mt, Clare of 1953”, which she cherished. She was a member of the Mt. Clare United Methodist Church, “CEO’s Club”, and the Senior Citizens Center of Mt. Clare. She was a home maker from 1956 to 1969. From there she started her career at the Mt. Clare Post Office where she retired from as postmaster with 29 years of service. She loved to cook and bake and enjoyed having family and grandchildren in on Sundays and Holidays for home cooked meals. She also loved to go to yard and rummage sales.
